Modeling Christ

The”Modeling Christ” programs are lessons and counseling methods that emphasizes Christian morality and core values. Modeling Christ was designed by Rose Molfetta to promote positive self-image, well being, and foster better communication between children, teens and parents.

Children’s Program

Positive self image provides the psychological strength of all persons to make the necessary decisions toward accomplishing their life goals. The children in the program will be able to apply these methods and see positive results in themselves and with their families.

Pre-teen & Teen Program

A pre-teen and teen Christian Morality program combining clinical social work practices with Catholic teaching to guide teens through the joys and difficulties of the teenage years. Topics will include being able to identify and withstand societal pressures, to understand the immeasurable value of one’s person, to understand God’s unfathomable love and to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ so as His ambassador we may live the Gospel. The program utilizes a power point presentation along with visual demonstrations for each topic which enables teens to engage in discussion.

Abstinence Program

This program explores sexual integrity in our society today and empowers parents to encourage Christian values to their children so they can make healthy decisions and choose abstinence. Research has indicated that enhancing self-esteem leads to positive behavior patterns, which increases the ability to make better choices and choose abstinence. For this reason, building self-esteem is the main focus of this program.

Parenting Skills Program

By participating in this program, parents will discover new skills to be effective in their interaction with family members. Healthy parenting facilitates open communication and family homeostasis.

Women’s Program: Women of Integrity

The objective of this program is to discover one’s value no matter what state of life you are in; single, divorced or married can discover who they are as an individual and their true identity.
